Interested in becoming a member of CRLI?
Full CRLI members
Full CRLI members are staff members of the University of Sydney that contribute to the CRLI mission in one or more of the following ways:
- Do research and publish in the areas related to the CRLI work and share their research with other CRLI members via CRLI online
- Are chief investigators on projects related to the CRLI work
- Contribute to the CRLI events (e.g., present CRLI seminars, co-organise events)
- Are members of CRLI’s Special Interest Groups or Management Team
- Regularly participate in CRLI activities (e.g., attend CRLI events, contribute to CRLI online)
Benefits
- Full access to CRLI online community and research services
- Access to CRLI research infrastructure
- Priority booking to all CRLI events (including capacity building workshops, etc.)
- Assistance disseminating research work via CRLI online
- Right to self-identify as a CRLI member in research grants
- Right to self-identify as a CRLI member in the email signature
- Have a profile on CRLI online portal
Postgraduate CRLI members
CRLI postgraduate members are HDR students at the University of Sydney and contribute to the CRLI work similarly as Full CRLI members (above)

Affiliate CRLI members
Affiliate members are not staff members of the University of Sydney that have been contributing to CRLI work in one of the following ways:
- Directly contribute to CRLI work in similar ways as full CRLI members
- Have research partnerships with full CRLI members (e.g. grants, publications)
- Are ex-full CRLI members or postgraduate alumni
- Are current or past CRLI visiting fellows
Affiliate membership is open for international scholars

CRLI network members
CRLI network membership is open anyone with an organisational affiliation who is interested in CRLI work and wants to participate in its community.

Becoming a member
- To become a member, complete Application Form below
- Membership is subject to approval by CRLI team
Renewing and ceasing membership
- All full, postgraduate and affiliate CRLI members will be asked to provide information about their CRLI-related activities for annual CRLI report
- CRLI membership is renewed bi-annually. Members who will not provide evidence that they have been contributing to CRLI work in ways that meet their membership status over last two years, will cease their membership
