Alisha Portolese
Alisha is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Research on Learning and Innovation (CRLI), and a member of the Learning, Cognitive, and Brain sciences (LCB) research group, at The University of Sydney.
Alisha's PhD project aims to improve the learning design of problem-based learning in medical education by integrated specific feedback components. This includes integrating elements from productive failure and analogical encoding theory. She recently completed her Masters in Learning Sciences and Technology at The University of Sydney and also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University in Canada. Alisha has diverse experience teaching and supporting the learning of adults and children in a variety of contexts.
