July 4 CRLI Open Forum and SIG Day Out: Unlocking the potential of learning innovation and research
Are you interested in unlocking the potential of learning innovation and research? Want to bridge the gap between research and innovation in education, discuss key research challenges and questions, and discover research opportunities in education and innovation at the University?
Come along on July 4th, 2018, when the Centre for Research on Learning and Innovation (CRLI) will be holding our Open Forum SIG Day Out. Everyone is welcome at this afternoon event to discover current research, discuss key research challenges and questions, and find out more about research opportunities in education and innovation at the University.
We will open around 1.30pm with Special Interest Groups (SIG) workshops/seminars. After break for light refreshment we will have a video presentation by Professor Pip Pattison and an expert panel discussion “Unlocking the potential of interdisciplinary education”. The event starts at 1.30 with parallel open Special Interest Groups (SIG) meetings and/or workshops. The CRLI SIGs bring together researchers and practitioners to solve complex problems in learning and innovation areas. Join one of these parallel sessions to exchange ideas, brainstorm solutions and build collaborations in your area of interest.

After break for light refreshment, we will have an expert panel discussion “Unlocking the potential of interdisciplinary education” from 3.30-4.30pm. This discussion opens a series of seminar-discussions “Exploring interdisciplinary knowledge and learning practices” which will run in Semester 2 2018. The panel will include Associate Professor Lina Markauskaite (CRLI co-director) and other experts.
