Planned SIG meetings:
- 1st General meeting (Early June): At this meeting, the SIG will be introduced to the members of the CRLI and two research groups within the SIG, namely Learning, Cognition & Brain Sciences (LCBS) and Neuroscience & Education Lab (NEL) will provide brief presentations on their current projects. New membership applications will be invited.
- 2nd General meeting (November): At this meeting, research groups and members of the SIG will report their key outcomes of the year.
- Half-day Seminar on using eye-tracking method in educational research (Late August): At this seminar, the ways an eye-tracking technology can enrich research on learning and development. Currently, a speaker is sought from the list of academic staff members provided by the Tobii’s Australian distributor.
- Half-day Seminar on analysing EEG data (October): At this seminar, basics of EEG data cleaning and analysis will be covered by an invited speaker. SIG members who have their own data will be given opportunities to consult the invited speaker regarding their own data analysis.
